High-Throughput Data Analysis: These lectures will present modern methods for high-throughput data collection with emphasis in the microarray data. Other techniques will also be discussed, such as SAGE, SELEX, and ChIP. For microarrays, we will introduce two commonly used technologies. Aspects related to efficient experimental design will be discussed. Methods for filtering and normalization of the data will be explained. Finally, the students will be introduced to supervised and unsupervised methods that are commonly used in the analysis of microarray expression data [T. Speed (ed.).
